iQor, a global provider of customer contact solutions and product support services, announced today that their Qares program will donate 23,941.60 (MYR) to the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia on April 21, 2015.
iQor’s Malaysian leadership team including Vice President Steve Deacon and Operations Director Richard Tan will present the cheque to the National Kidney Foundation at No. 29, Jalan Hamilton, 11600 Pulau Pinang. The donation is part of iQor Qares community program, which helps people surrounding the communities in which iQor operates.
“iQor is committed to creating brighter futures for those who are suffering from kidney related illnesses,” said Vice President Steve Deacon. “We are incredibly proud of the contributions from our teams around the world and their dedication to making a noticeable difference in their communities for those less fortunate.”
Established in 2013, iQor Qares is a consolidated effort for iQor employees to volunteer time and donate money and/or resources to help address hunger, health and education in the communities in which they work. To date, the program has benefited over 20 global charities whose sole focus is to help those in need.
iQor runs and operates a 14,215 square meter repair facility in Penang, Malaysia, employing more than 550 employees. Through seven more additional facilities in China and Southeast Asia, iQor provides post-sales product and customer support throughout the region for some of the world’s largest consumer electronics, wireless and telecom customers.
